We have been looking around the interwebs for months, searching for the right phone holder. I just could not put a pop-socket on my phone; it felt way too silly. We finally found it and promptly ordered 5000 of them. Small, lightweight, strong steel construction, and flexible; We're calling it the "RNGR" - pronounced "Ringer".

It has all the features you are looking for and more style than should expect from a simple accessory for your phone. These are great looking ring holders. At first I thought it might be dumb but I was 100% wrong. (yes honey, you were 100% right). They look way better than I expected. Stylish, elegant even, the RNGR is beautiful.

    Introducing the RNGR

    • Phone holder & stand combo
    • Strong 3M adhesive

The RNGR is small and lightweight, but the steel construction is satisfyingly heavy to hold to and use. It has the construction and feel, of real quality compared to cheap and thin plastic ring holders.

        Flexible & Comfortable

The RNGR doesn't use a cheap sticker. This is strong 3M adhesive. Easy to re-position if necessary, but once in place, the 3M adhesive holds strong.

Seamless & Notchless — A Collection of iPhone X Wallpapers for Seamless Notch Hiding

The iPhone X, or 10 if you prefer, is a gorgeous piece of engineering. Slim, lightweight, powerful and beautiful. But the notch, oh god the notch. I know why it’s there. I know what it’s for. I even love Face-ID after a few months of getting used to it. But the notch is not attractive, and the stock wallpapers that come with your X don’t do anything to hide the ugliness.

Along comes MisterUltimate on Reddit with exactly the wallpaper I didn’t know I wanted. There have been other gradient fill wallpapers, but MisterUltimate nailed it with a collection of subtle and beautiful gradients that perfectly hide the notch on your lock-screen and otherwise.

Take a look and download them all here: A Collection of iPhone X Wallpapers for Seamless Notch Hiding

      • The Samsung Galaxy S9 is finally in the real

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is finally in the real

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is finally in the real. Pre-orders for Samsung’s new flagship phone will be available on March 2. Better get started planning how to upgrade. You have five days to sell your old phone and prepare to purchase the new S9 or S9 Plus.

No matter how you plan to get rid of your old phone, and whether you want to get the best price, or (like me) you can't stand crapware, your best bet is to buy the Galaxy S9 directly from Samsung.

Here’s how the pricing breaks down (via USA Today). Samsung is selling an unlocked version of the Galaxy S9 that works with any carrier for $720 (or 24 monthly payments of $30). The super-sized Galaxy S9+ is available for $840 (or $35 per month for two years). On top of that, the company is offering up to $350 off if you trade in an older phone, with the exact discount depending on the model and its current condition.

By comparison, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint are all selling the Galaxy S9 for around $790 and the Galaxy S9+ for anywhere from $910-$930. So you’re essentially paying extra for a phone that’s locked to a specific carrier and comes with a bunch of extra software you probably don’t want. Verizon and Sprint have already confirmed trade-in deals just like Samsung’s, while AT&T hasn’t announced any sort of discount for now.

If you’re on T-Mobile it’s not quite as bad. The carrier is offering pretty much the exact same pricing as Samsung, along with up to $360 in trade-in discounts. The downside is that your Galaxy S9 will still come loaded with bloatware that takes up storage space and slows down the device.

If you absolutely need to buy from your carrier do it through Best Buy for an added discount. For most people, though, buying the Galaxy S9 from Samsung is the way to go. You’ll get a solid price without all that xtra annoying software to deal with. Best of all, your new phone won’t be tied to one particular carrier.
